There Is No Such Thing as a Stupid Question

Whenever you have a question it's best to ask it because you won’t lose anything from asking questions and you can only gain from it.

There’s no such thing as a stupid question.

There are questions that are good questions and questions that are bad questions, but no question is a stupid one.

Some questions get better answers than others because they’re good questions.

However, to begin asking good questions, a person has to ask enough bad questions to get to the point where they ask good questions.

That includes asking “stupid questions” to others.

Whether it’s asking a teacher, co-worker, boss, (or anyone in particular who might have an answer) a question, getting answers is a net gain, as most people aren’t going to be blatantly rude and ignore a question without giving an answer.

It’s extremely important to ask questions when learning a topic in order to understand it better if you’re having difficulty or to learn about the topic more deeply if you already understand it and want to learn more.

I’ll be asking many questions, “stupid,” bad, or good this coming week when my university classes begin, and my goal is to learn as much as possible.
